Maytag® Commercial Laundry Offers a Look at New Multi-Load Washer Production Line
As part of the 59th Maytag® Commercial Laundry Meeting in Fall River, Massachusetts, 150 people gathered today including Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia; City Councilman Cliff Ponte; and Bristol County Chamber of Commerce Manager, Joe Trilling; to celebrate a significant milestone for Whirlpool Corporation’s investment in the commercial laundry category. Also on hand for the event, Maytag® Commercial Laundry Trade Customers, Robert Stevens and Robert Jackson of Harco Co. Ltd. based in Ontario, Canada and Victor Hirmas of Intertrade Chile based in Santiago, Chile.
“It’s exciting to provide a glimpse into the latest innovation from Maytag® Commercial Laundry, with our new dedicated multi-load washer production line,” said Trey Northrup, general manager of commercial laundry for Whirlpool Corporation. “The Maytag® Multi-Load Washer represents an extraordinary addition to our product portfolio that continues to deliver compelling solutions to customers and the industry.”
As a part of the Fall River facility tour, guests got a first-hand look at the new washer platform to complete Maytag Brand’s model line-up. The dedicated production line produces customizable, rigid and soft mount washers in 20-65 lb. sizes. These new machines, which roll off the line this summer, are designed to handle the industry’s toughest loads, day after day.
For James and Rhonda West, fourth generation owners of Best Wash Inc. in Humble, TX, touring the Fall River facility meant seeing behind the scenes of how Maytag machines are made.
“We got a lot of good information about how and where the product is being made,” said James West. “And, it was really interesting to see the testing stations and environmental control lab.”
In addition to the manufacturing facility, the sales and service support have been expanded to include more resources and an enhanced call center located in the Fall River facility - all to ensure Whirlpool Corporation. Commercial Laundry delivers the best possible experience for distributors.
