Dealers and Service

Most commercial washers and dryers cost more than just a few hundred bucks. The entry level machines can sometimes cost a few thousand dollars. When purchasing a piece of new machinery, it is important to consider the price. However, it is just as equally important to consider who is going to service your machine should it ever break down. Realistically, commercial washers and dryers can sometimes last 20-25 years. That being said, there is always maintenance on machinery regardless of what brand of products you purchase. Therefore it is extremely important to take into consideration the Distributor that is selling you the machine.

Dealers are "authorized" by manufacturers to sell and service their machinery. However, there are some Laundry Dealers that will sell you the machinery, but do not have the staff to service the machine within the time frame you need it serviced. Unless you are quite handy, consider the ability of the dealer to service your machine as needed. With regards to issues that would fall under the umbrella of a Warranty, remember that a good Dealer will always assist you with those needs related to a Warranty. You should also consider a maintenance plan when buying a new washer and/or dryer. Most Dealers will bring this up with you at time of purchase, but just in case, don’t be afraid to ask about maintenance plans as they can certainly provide you with peace of mind should you ever need servicing on one of your machines.
